TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT

Terms of Use of the locateaquote.com.au website

Locate A Quote Pty Ltd (we, us, our) operates an online business directory requesting quotes from Australian Businesses.  The addition of your business (you) to our directory is conditional on your acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions.  Please read the terms of use carefully.

  1. We are not responsible for how many quotes you will receive from our website and nor do we guarantee that you will receive any quote requests if your business is listed on our directory.
  2. We are not responsible for what your business and a person who requests a quote from our website (user) agrees to, any work to be carried out, the price agreed upon, or any other agreements made between your business and the user.
  3. Businesses are to provide a quote to the user within 48 hours from when it was received, unless impracticable.
  4. From time to time we will need to change our monthly pricing. We can change monthly prices as we deem necessary. If we change our monthly prices we will provide businesses on our directory with 30 days written notice of any changes.
  5. If a business wishes to cancel their monthly subscription, they must provide 14 days notice in writing. Upon receipt of a cancellation, Locate A Quote Pty Ltd. will confirm the cancellation and refund any monies pre paid by the business at a pro rata rate. We will cancel any direct debit arrangements once cancellation has been confirmed.
  6. We will in no way negotiate or mediate between a business and a user if there is a dispute between these two parties.
  7. If a monthly payment is declined from a businesses account or credit card, we will continue to debit the account or credit card. If payment is still declined we have the discretion to cancel the businesses listing and remove their details from the website.
  8. All information you provide is true and correct, and all photos are a true indication of the services you provide and/or the products you provide. You will not submit or display any information or images that are defamatory, threatening, unlawful, obscene, offensive, illegal, indecent or otherwise objectionable.
  9. We have overall discretion on whether to allow a business to list on our website. We reserve the right to delete, stop or alter a businesses description or details without notice to that business.
  10. We are not responsible for the accuracy or legitimacy of quote requests sent to your business.
  11. We will endeavor to display a preferred quoter and a preferred quoter plus listing as soon as the first monthly payment has been made.
  12. You will not use locateaquote.com.au to engage in any misleading or deceptive business or marketing practices.
  13. We do not warrant that the website is error or fault free. If the website becomes unusable or inaccessible for any reason, we will endeavor to rectify any problems with the website as soon as practicable. However, we take no responsibility for any quote request made unavailable or financial loss to your business.
  14. If Locate a Quote deems it necessary to cancel a businesses listing, we will refund any monies pre paid by the business on a pro rata basis.
  15. We reserve the right to amend the Terms of Use at any time. Any amendments become effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of our website will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms of Use.
  16. All intellectual property including patents, trademarks, trade names, copyright, design, databases and information on locateaquote.com.au are owned by Locate A Quote Pty Ltd. and are not to be used by any other entity without the written consent of Locate A Quote Pty Ltd.
