HOW LOCATEAQUOTE WORKS

Locateaquote.com.au is an online business directory - set up to make it easier for you to send and receive quotes from businesses.

Locate a Quote eliminates repetition and makes it  easy to send as many quote requests as you like to over 500 different business categories.

Locate a Quote works just like a normal business directory, which allows you to search for businesses in your area that you would like a quote from. However, locateaquote.com.au allows you to e-mail each business in the search results all at once and by filling in only one form. In the past you would have to ring or e-mail each and every business you wanted a quote from and repeat yourself over and over. Now with locateaquote.com.au you can contact each business from one website and all on the one contact form – How easy is that!

You can even add an attachment with your quote request, so if you want to include house plans, photo’s or anything else to help the businesses with their quote estimates you can do so.

Each business has a description explaining what they do with the ability to view photos of their previous work or the products they sell.  This allows you to make the most informed choice of who you would like to send your quote request to.

We ask businesses to reply to quote requests within 48 hours, so you receive your quote as quickly as possible

How it works;

1. From the home page - Search for the business type and area you need. If you are in a capital city try a "Metro Wide Search" from the drop down box.

2. From the search results you choose which businesses you would like to send your quote requests to by ticking the boxes next to their names.

3. Fill in the form detailing what work you need done or the product you would like a quote on - you can add attachments to give businesses more detail of your requirements or to add plans or photos.

4.  Hit Send and your request is emailed directly to the businesses you chose.

5. You receive a written quote back directly from your chosen businesses. 

 

Locate a Quote has no bearing on who receives your quotes - it is entirely up to you who you send your quotes to and how many you want to send. We believe you as the user should have control over who you get quotes from and we believe people want ownership of the quote process. Having ownership over the process also allows you to request quotes from familiar companies or from local businesses. For example- if you wanted a quote on hiring a portaloo you could get a quote from a well established company such as Coates Hire but you could also get a quote from your local hire company that's just around the corner, either way you have the choice.
